I read something on Facebook the other day on Facebook that made me think about how I go about different things in my life. The post said, "If you are going to quit anything, OUIT being lazy, QUIT making excuses, and QUIT waiting for the right time!
Now, I don’t know about you but I am guilty of all three of those things. I have times where I am lazy and just lounge about my apartment and I happen to make excuses for why I cannot do something. The biggest thing is waiting for the right time. There is no “right time” for anything as the “right time” for me is not going to be the same as the person standing next to me.
It is perfectly fine if you are not ready to or even want to do the things others have done, no one is going to fault you for that. But by being lazy you may affect your health or even your mindset because you’re not going to want to do anything. By making excuses you’re limiting your own potential and possibly missing out on something great. I am by no means saying that there are not times that an excuse is valid but be honest with yourself on why you may be making the excuse. Lastly, by waiting for the right time you are not moving anywhere, baby steps are still steps. The “right time” may pass you by while you’re sitting and waiting.
