Business Comfort Zones

Comfort zones; an area that can calm your nerves but also stunt growth.

They can be a nice place to be when you are overwhelmed with many things but they can also be harmful to your individual growth.

When you choose to stay in your zone, there are many opportunities that you could be missing out on. Sometimes the comfort zone comes about due to trauma, rough experiences, and even good experiences you may not want to lose.

Right now, there are many different businesses being started and something that I have noticed is that many people tend to try only selling to people they know when they first launch. The mindset behind this could be that because they know you they are more willing to buy. The downside to this is that you are overlooking many potential customers. Your friends and family may be great but they are not your target audience for your business.

There is nothing wrong with selling to family and friends as they can be great supporters for you but there are so many other people in the world that may want to support but you haven't given the chance because you don't know them. One of my best friends just sold her first wholesale lip scrub kit to someone in California and she is in Indiana. Reach out to the many groups on Facebook and promote, promote, promote! You never know who is watching your business, you may even get a surprise from a customer.
